What is Invisalign
Invisalign is a system of clear, removable aligners designed to gradually move teeth into their planned position using digital 3D treatment planning. The aligners are nearly invisible and comfortable, allowing you to straighten your teeth without traditional braces. Our goal is not quick, trial-and-error treatment, but a high-quality, comprehensive, and science-based approach. We focus not only on the condition of the teeth, but also on the bite, jaw function, and the overall functional balance of the entire dental system. This approach allows us to achieve predictable, long-lasting results, giving our patients not only a beautiful smile, but also confidence in its health for years to come.
How Invisalign works
You wear a series of aligners in sequence, and each set gently moves your teeth step by step into the correct position.

Our Approach
How the First Consultation Works
The initial consultation lasts approximately 1 hour. It is not just a discussion — the consultation includes 3D scanning, a clinical photo protocol, and CBCT imaging. Without a comprehensive examination, it is impossible to fully assess all issues related to your bite and jaw function.
We use CT imaging that allows visualization of the entire skull, which is essential for evaluating not only the teeth, but also the condition of the temporomandibular joints. There are only two CT systems of this level in the UAE: one is installed in our clinic, and the other is located at the University of Sharjah.
We create a detailed 3D model of your jaw and teeth using a specialized digital scanner. The scan allows us to simulate tooth movement and clearly show the stages and expected results of your treatment.
We take detailed photographs of the face and teeth from multiple angles. This helps us make an accurate diagnosis and develop a precise treatment plan, as well as monitor progress throughout treatment. Short video recordings allow us to assess facial expressions, lip position, and facial symmetry dynamically.
Only after all stages are completed do we present a preliminary treatment plan, timelines, and cost. Our goal is to provide a complete and clear picture. Even if the patient is not ready to start treatment immediately and makes the decision only after a couple of weeks, that's not a problem — we already have all your diagnostic data and will invite you to proceed to the next stage of treatment.

The Foundation for Dental Rehabilitation!
If the teeth have no aesthetic defects (no chips or wear), aligner treatment can be complemented with professional whitening to achieve a bright, white smile. After that, only retainer wear is required to maintain the result.
If there are dental defects or some teeth are missing, aligner treatment serves as a preparatory stage for the next phases of rehabilitation. Once the teeth are positioned correctly, implants and crowns can be placed in their planned positions, and veneers can be installed with minimal tooth reduction.
Multidisciplinary Care Under One Roof
At Zenon Clinic, a team of specialists from different fields works together — orthodontists, a gnathologist, implantologists, prosthodontists, and general dentists. In complex clinical cases, doctors hold a joint consultation and develop a unified treatment plan.
Invisalign treatment often requires more than just tooth alignment. For long-term stability and optimal results, additional procedures may be needed — and all of them are available within our clinic. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to coordinate treatment efficiently, reduce overall treatment time, and achieve stable functional and aesthetic results without referrals to external clinics.

Aligners vs Braces — Comparison
| Criteria | Aligners | Braces |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Nearly invisible | Visible on teeth |
| Comfort | Smooth, removable aligners | Fixed system, may cause irritation |
| Oral hygiene | Easy to maintain, removable | More difficult due to fixed elements |
| Treatment visibility | Digital 3D planning before treatment | Less predictable, manual adjustments |
Prevention & Care
During Invisalign treatment, teeth gradually shift into alignment and small gaps may appear. This is a natural stage of tooth movement and a sign that the aligners are working properly.
Food particles and plaque can accumulate more easily in these spaces, so enhanced oral hygiene is essential. In addition to regular brushing, using an irrigator is recommended to effectively clean hard-to-reach areas and support gum health.
